What NRIs ask us most.

Can NRIs buy property in India without RBI approval?

Yes. Under FEMA, NRIs and OCIs can freely buy residential and commercial property in India without prior RBI permission. The only categories that are off-limits are agricultural land, plantation property and farmhouses (these can still be inherited or gifted).

How do I pay for property from the US?

All payments must originate from an Indian banking channel — your NRE, NRO or FCNR account, or via direct inward remittance from your US bank. Cash and overseas-currency payments to the builder are not permitted.

Do I have to fly to India for registration?

No. With a properly drafted Special Power of Attorney executed in front of the Indian consulate in the US, a trusted person in India (often a family member or our team) can complete registration on your behalf. We draft the POA in compliance with Maharashtra requirements.

Can I repatriate the proceeds when I sell?

Yes — up to USD 1 million per financial year from your NRO account, subject to producing the appropriate CA certificates (Form 15CA / 15CB) and tax compliance. Our team coordinates with your CA to make this clean.

What's your fee?

For buyers, our brokerage is paid by the developer as a channel-partner commission — you pay the same as you would at the builder's office. For resale, rental and management we work on agreed retainers and percentage-based fees, disclosed in writing upfront.
